Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder, also known as “Adhesive Capsulitis”, refers to a painful condition where the shoulder movement is severely constrained. The condition may occur as a result of injury or where the shoulder has been immobilized for a prolonged period. Moreover, the condition is known to occur more frequently in patients suffering from diabetes, thyroid problems or cardiac problems. Depending on the cause of the condition, treatments for frozen shoulder include the usage of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), physiotherapy, osteopathy, heat compresses, massage, supplements such as glucosamine, myofascial release therapy, and Prolotherapy. Surgery may be offered in certain cases
