Diphtheria
Diphtheria is an infectious disease of the upper respiratory tract, caused by toxigenic bacteria. Symptoms of diphtheria include fever, red sore throat, weakness, headache, a false membrane forming over the throat, difficulty swallowing, and swollen neck glands. Treatment options include antitoxins, antibiotics, hospitalization, immunization, and homoeopathy.
