Fainting

Fainting is a sudden loss of consciousness that one can spontaneously recover from. It transpires when not enough blood, oxygen or both reach the brain. Factors such as dehydration, standing up too quickly, heart conditions and situational events (such as injections, hot showers, or having blood drawn), might cause someone to faint. Treatments include herbal remedies, homoeopathy, aromatherapy and acupuncture. Simply being cautious when moving from one position to another helps too.
