There have been a lot of tummy bugs around over the summer period. Some very severe symptoms have been presented to me, and I feel for all. The best Herb here would be the Koromiko bush. Pick some top buds, leaves and steep in a little hot water for a few minutes or until cool and then sip. But of course if symptoms persist please seek professional help.

What’s happening in the garden?
Well the garden could do with some rain!! But the Echinacea, Marshmellow and Valerain to name a few are surviving very well. Once the rain come there will be more calendula, borage and California poppy’s popping up, which will coincide with autumn harvest. The Dandelions, plantain and daisy’s struggle to in this dry hot weather.

Recipe for insect bites, sunburn, scratches et
Gather some plantain and calendula flowers and dry over night. Add some oil (can be cooking or olive).
Add to double boiler over low heat for ½ hr or let steep for 2 weeks.
Strain the bottle. Keep out of direct sunlight.
Apply externally.
