Welcome to Ann's Temple-Massage Therapist Body Massage This treatment starts with a short session of reflexology on the feet to relax the body. The massage with heated aromatherapy oil is very relaxing and therapeutic, designed also to get into the tension areas of the back, neck and shoulders. Finishing with an oil free scalp massage. The massage is also tailored to suit the client's individual needs. Deep tissue massage is working deeper into the muscles releasing spasms, toxins, tension and helping to release trapped nerves like sciatica. Swedish massage is more gentle and relaxing often putting the client to sleep. It is wonderful for increasing blood and lymph flow thru the body. One is left afterwards feeling light, relaxed and rejuvenated, both mentally and physically. I have also worked in various five star hotels overseas, where I massaged film stars, like Anthony Quinn and John Phillip Law. 90 mins - $55 Basalt Hot Stone Massage Therapy This treatment Is blended with the body massage making it two hours of total relaxation. Hot stones are massaged slowly with aromatherapy oil over the body, concentrating especially on the back, neck and shoulders. The stones are also placed on different parts of the body for a sense of deep warmth and wellbeing. 120 mins - $80 Facial The facial consists of cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, extraction, and brow shape, face massage for half an hour, mask and hot and cold compresses. Reflexology of the feet is given during steaming and mask. 90 mins - $65 Face massage with Aromatherapy Oils (Including neck and décolletage) The face massage relaxes the face to such an extent that one looks younger as the tension lines are eased away. There are more concentration of the nerve endings in the face than any other part of the body so this is why it is so relaxing and beneficial having the face massaged. As the massage is very slow and rhythmical, the client often goes to sleep, or falls into a deep state of relaxation. The skin will have a healthier and luminous appearance as massage also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. 30 mins - $20 Body Exfoliation The cream used for the exfoliation, consists of herbal extracts, mineral salts and essential oils. It is lightly massaged all over the body. This removes dead skin cells and toxic poisons, leaving the skin able to breathe again and accelerates the growing of new skin cells. It is then washed off leaving the skin smooth, polished, rejuvenated and able to absorb nourishing creams. This Is finished with a body moisturiser. Great before body massage, as oils penetrate easier. Reflexology of the Feet Reflexology is a science which deals with the principle that there are reflexes in the feet relative to each and every organ & part of the body. By activating these reflexes with the thumb we can help many health problems in a natural way, so helping the body heal itself. It is very good for relieving tension, as over 75% of our health problems are caused by stress. Reflexology Improves nerve and blood supply and helps nature to normalise. The purpose of reflexology is to promote better health. Its practice should not be compared with any medical treatment, nor is it intended to replace conventional medical treatments. 60 mins - $30 Spa Pedicure Feet are soaked in a bubbling foot spa, exfoliated, nails are cut and shaped, cuticles treated, rough dry skin removed, foot and leg massage, then polish of your choice. 90 mins - $35 Manicure Warm oil treatment, hands soaked, exfoliated, rinsed in geranium scented water with rose petals, cut and shape nails, cuticle treatment, hand and arm massage, then polish of your choice. 60 mins - $25 Tinting Eyelashes - $15 Eyebrows - $10 Waxing Disposable strip wax Tibetan Singing Bowls Tibetan signing bowls are incorporated into sound therapy, with tuning forks, rain stick, chimes, wave basket and a singing Tibetan bell. The bowls are placed on the body, so the sound and vibration permeate through the body, helping to create an altered Inner state of consciousness.
