Sharon Erdrich is one of New Zealand’s leading natural healthcare professionals. With over 40 years experience, she offers health and nutritional expertise to students of nutrition and naturopathy, health professionals as well as to private clients.
Her wide range of experience means she is well placed to support you to achieve your health goals.
Sharon is a New Zealand Registered Nurse, Registered Nutritionist, Registered Naturopath & Medical Herbalist and Aromatherapist. She consults from her practice in Mt Albert, Auckland. Sharon has a Master of Health Science (Hons) from the University of Auckland, specialising in nutrition.
How Sharon Works
Sharon Erdrich uses a personalised approach to your health. Her preferred modes of working with clients to support the return to good health, and the maintenance thereof, are Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Therapy. Where necessary, she may recommend advanced pathology or functional medicine testing to identify abnormal metabolism and imbalances. These aid in ensuring things move in the right direction for your treatment. Tools used include functional nutritional screening, DNA testing, hydrogen-methane breath testing, salivary/urinary hormones, allergy , mineral and/or toxin testing. These are all examples of Functional Testing; using science to aid addressing your health challenges by establishing underlying predispositions or imbalances. This enables more accurate targeting of appropriate therapies for each individual.

SiBO Breath Testing is a specialised diagnostic service provided by House of Health, which enables determination of the role of gut bacteria and/or certain carbohydrates (such as lactose or fructose) in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or other digestive dysfunction. Both at-home and in-clinic testing options are available.
