WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a complementary health therapy suitable for people of all ages using the application of pressure via fingers and thumb to your feet, hands and /or ears.
Reflexology is based on the principle that the whole body is reflected in your feet, hands and ears corresponding to all glands, organs and parts of your body.
Reflexology is holistic and non-invasive, working at all levels of your being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Reflexology was used in ancient China, Egypt and by the Indian Tribes of America a few thousand years ago. It passed the test of time and is increasing in popularity worldwide.
HOW DOES REFLEXOLOGY WORK?
Reflexology works on the reflex zones of your feet, hands and ears to stimulate your body`s own healing response. This stimulation enhances the flow of energy and promotes the restoration of balance in the affected areas.
Your body then thrives to release blockages,to relax and for energies to start flowing freely again.
Reflexology does not diagnose, prescribe or treat specific illnesses: It treats you as a whole person.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A REFLEXOLOGY SESSION?
Reflexology sessions involve a combination of foot relaxation techniques and the application of pressure using thumb and finger techniques to stimulate or sedate your body`s reflexes and promote balance within your body.
Sessions last for about an hour. Regular sessions over a period of time may be more effective.

Foot Joint Mobilisation
What is Foot Joint Mobilisation (FJM)
and how does it work?
FJM is an effective complementary health therapy working the structure of the feet.
When upright, the body is reliant on the feet for balance and stability. The 28 bones in each foot are the foundation for the entire body, If any of the bones in the feet are incorrectly aligned, the body attempts to compensate, causing problems in other parts of the body. Within the foot there are nerve receptors called proprioceptors.
If the bones in your feet are not working properly, the information going to your brain may become confused. When this happens the body works against itself and ultimately the entire body becomes involved.
FJM consists of 17 gentle moves enouraging the bones of the foot into alignment to return to their original position. This takes pressure of the feet and corrects the structural imbalances of the body.
Foot Joint Mobiliation may assist if suffering from:
- Aching Feet
- Achilles Pain
- Back Pain
- Burning Feet
- Claw Toes
- Flat Feet
- Hammer Toes
- High Arch
- Hip Pain
- Neck Pain
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Recurrent Corns
- Shin Splints
- Shoulder Pain
- Swollen Ankles

Zu Qigong is a complementary therapy technique, applying a very light touch and working only on the feet and lower legs. A deceptively simple routine, providing a therapeutic outcome that is gentle on the recipient and yet producing powerful holistic benefits. Many clients report it as being a meditative type experience, deeply calming and relaxing.
The therapy is designed around the energy systems of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the basic principles of reflexology.
