Massage therapy consists of various techniques which manipulate the soft tissues of the body, in order to benefit the muscular and nervous systems as well as connective tissues, blood and lymph circulation. Your therapist will discuss with you the reasons for your massage and perform any assessments necessary to help decide on the type of massage most appropriate. Because we charge by time for relaxation/therapeutic/sports and deep tissue massage a combination of these techniques may be used. We also offer reflexology, indian head massage, and hot stone massage If you require one of these massage please state at the time of booking as they are only available with some of our therapists (prices vary)

Acupuncture is part of a wonderful natural system (Traditional Chinese Medicine) that has been developed and refined over thousands of years that can treat a wide range of health issues. Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine sterile (single use) needles into specific points on meridians (channels of energy) on the body. Points are selected according to the diagnosis made by the practitioner in order to stimulate the body and bring about balance & health. Injuries covered by ACC can be treated with acupuncture by a registered treatment provider. You need an ACC claim number from your GP or other health provider. You do not need to be specifically referred for acupuncture, it is your choice. You can come for acupuncture treatment whilst continuing with other types of treatment (physiotherapy, chiro, osteo etc).
