North Shore Podiatry Ltd., was established in April 2010 by Jeanette Speck and Sarah Steele, both Podiatrists were trained in New Zealand at AUT University, Auckland. Jeanette has had wide experience working in the health sector as a registered nurse both in New Zealand and the UK. Sarah is a fully registered and qualified personal trainer, with excellent experience in this field. We share a passion for podiatry and an ongoing commitment to provide appropriate treatment and advice to our clients. We can provide nail care, nail surgery, strapping, treatment of verracue, warts, corns and callus, orthotic prescription and orthotic inserts. We have a genuine interest in assisting clients with Diabetes, Arthritis and medical conditions which may make caring for your feet difficult.
New to North Shore Podiatry is a mobile gait scan machine, that is used to assess a foot by allowing the podiatrist to see pressure areas in the foot whilst standing and break down the movement of the foot while walking. The Gait scan machine is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Our appointments are 30 minutes with individual consideration to clients who may require longer consultations; our prices are reasonable and available on enquiry. All equipment used in your consult is sterilized as per guidelines required by registered health professionals and the Podiatry Board of New Zealand.
Our practice is situated in Hauraki Pharmacy, we have easy access available from the car park off Jutland Road which is free for up to 60-90 minutes, disability parking is available and the entrance to the pharmacy is disability friendly. We welcome new clients while continuing to provide consistent ongoing treatment to our existing clients. Our telephone number has an answer service which is responded to promptly.
HOURS: - Monday to Friday 09.00 am to 5.00 pm (late appointments are available in consultation with treating podiatrist).
Saturday – 09.00 to 12.00 pm by appointment.
