The clinic-
Is situated at 60 Lohia St ,Khandallah , Wellington, in a quiet residential street approx.12 min. from central Wellington. There is plenty of free street parking.
Naturopathic /Herbal Consultation
A naturopathic consultation objective is to develop a clear picture of your whole (holistic) person. Your lifestyle, nutrition, emotional and physical stresses, health history and current issues. In conjunction with detailed discussion, diagnostic tools such as lab tests, urine tests, fingernail, iris and tongue analysis and muscle testing are utilized when appropriate to obtain a full picture. My aim is to help you correct imbalances and obtain wellness, not only at a symptom level but also at a cause level. A simple example of this concept would be a client with hypertension (high blood pressure) a life threatening condition. There are drugs, homeobotanics, herbs, nutritional supplements etc that can reduce hypertension but if my client is overweight, smokes and has a very stressed lifestyle (all causative/risk factors for hypertension) I would be doing them a disservice to just treat the symptoms If these causative factors are not addressed their condition will require treatment for life, will likely never be fully controlled and they will remain in the at risk category. I recommend nutritional and lifestyle changes, nutritional supplements, homeobotanics, mineral celloids, flower essences, and herbs, Homeobotanicacs are potentised herbal blends that are safe, effective , pleasant to taste and economical. A singe bottle of Homeobotanics allow me to address several concerns, or we can address a single concern by supporting several organs. We can also add flower essences and extra herbs to your homeobotanical prescription. .

Therapeutic Massage
Relieve your muscle tension therefore increase movement and reduce discomfort, pain and injury recovery time. I enjoy the challenge of remedial massage and getting results. I have found that gentle but accurately focused pressure will get better results than brute force and is so much easier on the clients. A therapeutic massage can cover the whole body or just at a small area and related muscle (such as the feet or face). I also use castor oil or mudpacks when needed and advise on exercises to keep muscles supple.
Relaxation massage
Treat yourself to the ultimate body/mind and soul relaxation therapy. Relaxation massage is ideal for giving yourself time out and discovering new levels of relaxation and inner awareness and balance – essential to counteract our modern lifestyles.
Flower Essence consultations
Flower essences are made from flowers and although gentle and completely safe can have profound and fast action on correcting emotional imbalances. (e.g. relationships/ family/work stress, fear, post trauma, depression, exhaustion, motivation, guilt etc). I use Bach Flower Essence (from England). Well respected “rescue remedy” is a combination of 5 of the 38 available Bach flower essences .Also, Australian Bush Flower Essence – which profound effects are appreciated in Australia and overseas. Less known is that some of the Flower Essences also address physical imbalances e.g. She Oak for menopausal symptom.
Finding your ultimate Flower Essences combination:
I use a combination of pendulum guidance and consultation to select your personalized Flower Essence combination. Traditional consultation requires taking a case history and creating an open communication dialogue with you. Pendulum (dowsing) allows me to connect to your energies and directly indicates remedies that you would benefit from. Often the basis of our stresses are not what logically presents to our conscious thoughts so pendulum dowsing can present some profound insights and therefore pathways for inner growth and healing.
The cost of a personalized bottle of Flower Essence Remedy is $10). A consultation primarily using pendulum guidance is quicker (approx 1/4 hour) than extensive case taking and dialogue. (approx 1 hour). However, I use the method you are most comfortable with.
Ear Candles
Ear candling has grown in popularity especially with swimmers, surfers and those with regular balance issues/ ear ache/ sinusitis/ tinnitus and the sensation of ear blockage. (Not recommended during acute ear infection -discuss herbal homeopathic etc remedies)) I offer you ear candling and I will also demonstrate this relatively simple procedure to your support person so you can ear candle in the comfort of your own home.
