Treatment can include deep tissue, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy, relaxation massage, TMJ work, and lymphatic drainage.
In treating your pain, we will spend time trying to analyse the source of your pain. This can often be in a completely different spot from where you are feeling it eg: wrist/hand RSI type symptoms will often have problems with muscles in the neck and shoulder so these must be treated for a more thorough recovery. We will also spend time looking at what you are doing in your environment and things we may have to change eg: lifting laptops off the desk to eye level thus reducing neck pain and headaches.
Massage and soft tissue treatment is an integral part of your healthcare regieme. As well as offering soft tissue solutions to your pain and wellbeing, I also have an excellent team of people whom I refer clients out to to complete their care. This could be personal trainers, food experts or other healthcare practitioners.
Types of pain that soft tissue treatment ( massage) could help include: OOS, migraines, facial pain, sciatica, compartment syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, plantar fascititis or any general muscular pain.
