BOWEN THERAPY
Bowen Therapy is unlike a lot of other therapies. It is a very gentle physical therapy that balances the body by stimulating the muscles to realign themselves and in doing so heal the body. The therapy consists of series of small moves to stimulate the muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves of the body which also balances the internal organs and functions of the body.
A Bowen Session is usually conducted in a low stimulus environment over loose clothing like T-shirts and bike pants and usually lasts between 40 minutes to one hour.
Bowen Therapy can assist people across ages ranging from new born infants to older people for simple relaxation or to help a variety of complaints.

About Pip Oatham
Pip began her interest in health as a Registered Nurse but became interested in natural therapies in early 2000. She trained as a Bowen Therapist receiving her Diploma in 2006 and attended the Advanced Bowen Procedures in 2008. Pip is a professional member of the New Zealand Bowen Therapy Institute and member of the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.
