At Beauty and Beyond Urban Retreat, we have created a sanctuary away from your busy schedule to unwind and focus on your well-being.
Beauty and Beyond Urban Retreat’s spa therapists and hairstylists are all fully qualified, and we are proud to be members of the Association of Beauty Therapists, through which we have received the highest awards in professional skincare, and the Hairdressing Association.
All of our team undergo regular professional development, ensuring you receive only the best in treatment and care.
If you are pregnant, taking medication, suffer allergies or other health problems, please advise your therapist before your treatment.
Day Spa
From the spas of the Ancient Romans to Japan’s ofuroya (bathhouses), the health benefits of water therapies have endured throughout the ages and across the cultures.
Through elegant design and calming ambience, our private spa area is pure tranquility … a world away from life’s stresses and strains.
Medi - Spa
Beauty and Beyond Urban Retreat is the home of holistic beauty care in Southland, including a dedicated appearance medicine team and spa therapists highly trained in the latest technology and techniques.
Our medi-spa team turns dreams into reality; skin and hair problems, once untreatable, can now be reversed.
All of the techniques, products and technology used in our medi-spa services have been carefully researched and selected – we only use those that have been proved the safest and most effective.
Appointments
Our spa hours are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9.30am–6pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 9.30am–7pm (beauty therapy), 9pm (hairstylists)
Saturday: 10am – 5pm
For those with mobile phones, we will send a text message confirming your appointment time the day before your booking. Please note all treatment durations include changing and preparation time.
If you find you are unable to keep an appointment, please advise us no later than 24 hours beforehand to avoid incurring a fee.
Our lounge
If you can spare the time, we highly recommend arriving 15 minutes before any treatment to unwind in our lounge. Please help yourself to the complimentary refreshments. Likewise, you may wish to enjoy some quiet time there on completion of your treatment before “facing the world” again.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of treatment. We have EFTPOS facilities and accept all Visa, Mastercard, American Express and
CRT cards.
Gift Voucher
Our vouchers are ever-popular for those looking to treat someone special to pampering and luxury.
Vouchers can be made out to a specific amount or, alternatively, for a particular treatment or package. These are fantastic for Christmas, birthdays, special celebrations – or at any time when you want to show that special someone how much you care.
