In a relaxing setting, Health Dynamics director Anne Moller will work with you to refresh and revitalise your body. A qualified shiatsu practitioner with more than 10 years experience, Anne also holds a qualification as an Alexander Technique practitioner, ( Boston, USA). She has a particular interest in helping people to alleviate the stress which arises from everyday living, be it taking care of children or at a busy workplace. Hence, the development of the Health Dynamics concept. To make shiatsu financially available to the widest number of people at health dynamics we charge using a sliding scale ( see shiatsu massage page for details)
We're easy to find, just 10-minutes drive from the city and 2 minutes from Westfield St Lukes Mall. There's plenty of parking.

"Shiatsu, which means "finger pressure", uses the pressure not just of the fingers, but the thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet to massage key meridians or energy channels in the body, releasing tension and stimulating the system. And it feels great! Your limbs are gently rotated and stretched, and palm and finger pressure releases muscular tension. Best of all, Japanese modesty requires that you keep your clothes on!

Just give me 60 minutes and we'll replace the tightness and pain in your neck with a totally relaxed re-energised body. Includes foot and hand massage.

What to expect in a shiatsu session
Each standard session lasts approximately one rejuvenating hour.
The session usually takes place on a padded mat or futon at floor level, although it is possible to receive Shiatsu sitting on a chair if you are unable to lie down. You will remain clothed during the entire session. Following a treatment, there is usually a feeling of increased vitality and you may feel invigorated yet relaxed.
Guidelines for receiving Shiatsu
Please bring or wear loose, warm, comfortable clothing, preferably cotton, e.g. sweatshirt, tracksuit trousers and cotton socks.Do not eat heavily in the two hours prior to treatment.Do not drink alcohol before or after treatment.After treatment drink plenty of water to smooth the flow of changes through the system.For full benefit try to avoid strenuous or stressful activities directly after your session.
