Welcome to Essential Massage
I provide massage for relaxation and also for the relief of muscle aches and pains. I perform relaxation, sports and neuro-muscular massage. Relaxation massage comprises Swedish massage techniques applied over the whole body using pressure ranging from gentle to firm, according to the client's wishes. This is a highly popular form of massage and provides clients with an enhanced feeling of relaxation and general muscular relief.
Sports massage is ideal for anyone indulging in any form of physical activity. It can be used as part of the warm-up before an event or exercise session or afterwards as an effective method of relieving sore or aching muscles and facilitating recovery.
Neuro-muscular techniques utilise deep tissue therapy to work on specific muscle attachments in order to release tight or over-stressed muscles.
Massage therapy increases blood circulation, allows more efficient disposal of waste products from the tissues, especially through lymphatic drainage, breaks down adhesions in the tissues and breaks down cellulite, eliminates trigger points, reduces injury to muscles and facilitates faster recovery from injury or strain.
I am available during mornings and also on weekends. I operate at home, but also am happy to do out-calls to your home or hotel.
QUALIFICATION DETAILS
Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine.
