Welcome to The Podiatry Clinic
Here at the Podiatry Clinic we offer safe, high quality medical and surgical treatment for your feet and legs.
We can assist with, sports injuries, orthotic therapy and treatment of verrucae, corns and callouses as well as surgical correction of, for example, ingrown toe nails, hammer toes and bunions.
About your visit
We do accept referrals from other health professionals however this is not essential and you do not need a referral from a GP. Usually initial consultations take 30 minutes. On your first visit we will ask you questions about your health, family medical history and present symptoms. Patient confidentiality is assured. Following diagnosis of your symptoms, we will discuss the various treatment options with you.
Information
We keep you fully informed about the treatment options available to you and ensure informed consent throughout the management of your condition.
Ethics
The Podiatry Clinic strictly observes the NZ Ministry of Health (MOH) - Podiatrists Board of NZ Code of Ethics, Code of Safe Practice and Infection Control.
Hygiene
We maintain the strictest principles of sterile procedure. All instrument sets are guaranteed sterilised for every patient at the start of all treatment.
Our Qualifications
We are Registered with the NZ MOH under the following Podiatrists Board of NZ Scopes of Practice - (i) Podiatrist and (ii) Podiatric Surgeon with New Zealand College of Podiatric Surgery Post Graduate Diplomas in Podiatric Surgery. Each of our practitioners has over 25 years individual experience in private practice including long involvement, over those years, in the delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate podiatric education.
