Many thousands of students have graduated from Camille, with several operating their own successful businesses. Many have returned, sometimes years later, to continue their education with Post Graduate Courses and other advanced training.
Campus
The Newmarket campus occupies 1 floor (approximately 500 square feet) of fully air conditioned premises, centrally located with convenient access to motorways and public transport. The Albany campus is located within the Albany Industrial/Commercial area with plenty of parking as well as having convenient access to motorways and transport links. Both premises include 5 classrooms, student kitchen and office administration.
Numbers are limited in each class to enable students to receive thorough and effective training and full access to equipment. Equally, it allows tutors to perform supervision and assessment tasks in the most constructive manner. With emphasis on excellence, our tutors are chosen for their experience, teaching skills and qualifications.
Use of current equipment and cosmetics
In conjunction with the International College of Camille Ltd, Laser-Tone Ltd also owns House of Camille – the largest supplier of Skin Care and Beauty Therapy Equipment in New Zealand. The liaison between these two divisions allows students to use the most current equipment and cosmetics available, whilst offering them the opportunity to purchase products and equipment at wholesale prices.
House of Camille is a National distributor of beauty therapy equipment, supplies and skin care. Not only does this supply assist with career prospects but it also provides personalised and preferential assistance for those graduates beginning their own businesses.
Since 1984 House of Camille Directors, have particular focus on accessing new technology in the beauty industry overseas and bringing such information to our fingertips. The major ranges of cosmetics available from the House of Camille are COLLIN and DARPHIN – both from France.
Professional training and specialised treatments
Only professional Beauty Therapists retail these extensive and high quality skin care ranges. Students at the college undergo thorough training in COLLIN and DARPHIN, incorporating many specialised treatments not included in the Beauty Therapy Training syllabus.
