About Anne O’Donnell
NZ Registered Physiotherapist: Diploma Manipulative Therapy: Certified Bradcliff Practitioner
I have had physiotherapy practices in Hawkes Bay for the last 22 years, beginning from working at home with small children, as many folk will remember. Education and learning have been and remain my passion and driving force. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have fallen into physiotherapy as a career and to still love it as much, if not more, than I did then. It has enabled me to have different areas of interest to keep me enthusiastic – from Manipulative Physiotherapy practise and teaching to Breathing Disorders and Chronic Pain – more holistic practises as I grow older and more patient!
I am a Bradcliff Practitioner – an expert in Breathing Disorder therapy and am also a member of Hawkes Bay Pain Assessment Services, a multi-disciplinary team which assesses and recommends management for people with chronic pain. I hold contracts to treat and rehabilitate people with major injuries and chronic pain.
However I still love the daily hands-on physiotherapy, and being there for the families and friends who have become part of our physiotherapy community. To me, physiotherapy is about caring about people.
