Traditional Maori Healing
Traditional Maori Healing is an ancient practice that is not only for the past but very relevant and effective within our modern world, especially with the increasing stresses of our modern society.

Traditional Maori Healing releases and re-energises one's entire being. When one experiences an emotional event, the body will store that event within ones own cells, just as you would install a programme into your computer. As we grow and learn more, the body's cells will still hold that same programme and you will automatically respond to situations in the same manner until these old programmes are deleted and replaced. Traditional Maori Healing releases obsolete programmes within the cellular memory that have caused physical and psychological blocks, as well as blockages that have been passed down through the generations.
In Maori mythology, Tane climbed to the 12th Heaven to get the 3 kete of knowledge( the seen, the unseen, behind the unseen). During a session the practitioner will link into this knowledge and will greet the Tupuna(ancestors), and Kaitiaki(guardians) of the client. The practitioner will then clear any unneccessary energies that may block this part of the healing process.
The practitioner will converse with the client on their ailment and with help from their intuition and guidance from tupuna and kaitiaki will facilitate the best process to assist the client. A trained practitioner will be able to see where the painful experience is trapped within the body; eg. sore knee may indicate that the client needs to be more flexible in their thinking or sore legs may indicate a lack of direction in life.
On listening to the body the next step is to clear the blockages from the cellular memory. Deep tissue work using feet, elbow, greenstone, wood, salt water, etc are used. The technique used enables the client to release the old programme that they may have carried for a lifetime and therefore the changes within the client are amazing and an honour to be a part of.
The cells where these blockages can store themselves are the same cells that hold our DNA that we pass on to our children. So it is important that we clear programmes that do not empower us so that our tamariki and mokopuna do not bear the sins of their forefathers. this is why the gift of Traditional Maori Healing needs to be shared amongst Maori and, undeed, all nations to empower future generations.
