Welcome to Body Sync

The human body is a perfectly synchronised machine designed to perform at it's best if exercised regularly.

What is Massage

The word massage means to treat. It is a scientific method of manipulating the soft tissue of the body. Massage is one of the oldest forms of treatment for human ills. It has been used by the Chinese since 3000 BC. In 1813 the Royal Central Institute was established in Stockholm, Sweden. It was here that the different types of movements were studied and taught. This is why remedial massage is often called "Swedish". Massage can be divided into five steps: Effleurage, Petrissage, Friction, Tapotement and Vibration. Healing with hands and bringing synchrony to the body. Welcome to Body Sync Limited, offering therapeutic massage treatment for all ages. Our Services

We provide Remedial Massage and Swedish Massage. Massage manipulates the soft tissue of the body. It is applied for the purpose of producing beneficial effects on the nervous and muscular systems, and the circulation of blood and lymph. It is the skilled use of the hands for decreasing tension, flushing fluid from the muscles and producing deep relaxation. Massage techniques can be divided into five steps: Effleurage -Circulation is increased. Lymphatic circulation is improved. Aids in relaxation. Friction - Bringing blood and oxygen to the area. Breaks down fibrous thickening. Petrissage - Helps with circulation and removal of waste products. Softens hard contracted muscles. Fat can be broken down. Tapotement - The percussion movements: cupping, hacking, punding. All three movements stimulate the nervous system and increase tissue activity, it also breaks up fatty deposits. Vibrations - A great way to finish your massage, and give a deep feeling of relaxation.
