Class Descriptions Spin A stationary cycling class to music. Varying terrain will help you to increase your cardiovascular fitness. Spin is a good easy to lear class, with no co-ordination required. This is a low impact class and you control the resistance so it's as hard as you make it. Core Strength The core strength class incorporates proven, effective and easy to learn abdominal exercises and techniques to tone and strengthen not only the visible rectum abdominus muscles or 6 pack, but also the transverse abdominus (TVA) and oblique muscles. TVA muscles are the deepest and most crucial muscles of the core as they attach to the spine and play a large part in stability of the lower back and postural strength. This class uses a range of equipment including swiss balls, weights and floor exercises. All equipment is supplied. Kettlebell You can work every muscle group in your body using a variety of moves; lifting it, swinging it, passing it from hand to hand. As your confidence, strength and co-ordination develop you can move on to more complex routines and exercises and ...use heavier weights. A Kettlebell workout will develop your core stabiliser muscles, tone up arms, hips, thighs and your butt. The overall result will be increased strength, flexibility, timing, muscle tone and general body conditioning. Spin-Pump This class incorporates the benefits of the popular classes "Spin" and "Pump" into one session. You will alternate between the bike and weighted exercises, developing your fitness, burning fat, and toning your muscles all at once. This is the all in one full body workout unique to Club Cardio. Bootcamp This class has a mix of interval training, strength training, fitness building and body weight exercises. There is a variety of exercises designed to challenge you to push yourself to new levels. This class will sometimes be run as an outdoor session. This class is the ultimate in making group exercise fun. It will be challenging yet leave you with a huge feeling of achievement. Pilates Pilates is a style of training designed to improve posture alignment, core strength, and overall physical wellbeing. It is well suited for those with tight muscles and wanting a gentle exercise session. Pilates has become something of a world wide phenomenon for it's many benefits. Mats are provided but if you have your own you can bring this along. Circuit The circuit combines many Cardio and resistance training elements of the other classes. You will work your way through a number of different stations each working a different part of the body. One of the best ways to increase your fitness and burn fat while having fun. Great for those who like variation in their training as this class is never the same twice!
