Welcome to The Body Mechanics
The Body Mechanics is owned and operated by Head Mechanic, Louise Sheppard. Louise graduated from the University of Otago in 2004, with a Bachelor of Physical Education in Exercise Prescription, and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and has been working in Private Practice for the past 6 years. Louise has trained in Clinical Pilates through Dance Medicine Australia, is qualified in Acupuncture and is currently studying towards a Masters in Health Science in Pain and Pain Management through the Christchurch School of Medicine.
The Body Mechanics workshop is located at Terrace Junction in Frankton, Queenstown. The Body Mechanics have the use of the fantastic facilities at The Queenstown Events Centre, including Alpine Health & Fitness, and Alpine Aqualand given us access to all the rehab facilities we could ever need!
