This is why we created a mobile natural health clinic that comes to you. We provide convenient at home, at work or phone/msn consultations.
We specialize in children health and nutrition, women's health, pregnancy and fertility.
About Us
“It takes a village to raise a child' – I often heard from midwifes and mums of older generations. And suddenly I realized why it was so hard to cope as a new mother. We live in isolated little worlds often only mum raising the children alone or together with dad who works full time. So the first few years of our children’s life we, mothers need all the help and support we can get.
After a couple of years of being a mum I asked myself in what way I could help other mums, mums-to-be-s and their children? Being an experienced and qualified medical herbalist and naturopath I decided to create a mobile natural health clinic that will provide natural health and nutrition support for mothers and their children, pregnant women and also women trying to conceive. This way mothers can keep their children’s sleep routine in place, there will be no need to pack a million things to leave the house or to travel with sick children. Our natural therapists will visit you and your children at home. Home environment is safe for babies and children and very easy and convenient for mothers. We can alternatively come to your workplace if you are a busy working mum or mum-to-be. Mother and Child™ also offers phone or msn consultations where appropriate.

Monika is originally from Budapest, Hungary. She graduated as an economist in Hungary and traveled around the world before coming to Auckland, New Zealand in 2000. It is here in New Zealand where she found her true passion, natural healing.
Monika trained in Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in Auckland graduating with a double diploma in Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine in 2005. She has also won the ‘Best Naturopathic Student Award’.
Monika holds a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Complementary Medicine from Charles Sturt University, Australia.
She is a member of the New Zealand Society of Naturopath (NZSN) and the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists (NZAMH).
Monika specializes in fertility, pregnancy and children’s health. She has a strong focus on nutrition, herbal medicine and iridology in her practice.
She is a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable natural therapist and also the loving mother of her beautiful daughter, Jessica (2.5yrs).
Camelia Iordache

Camelia is originally from Romania. Her and her husband came to New Zealand in 2001 for their honeymoon.
During their visit they decided New Zealand was the country they Camelia Iordachewanted to live in.
In Romania Camelia graduated as a Steiner teacher and she was also working as a part-time beauty adviser.
In New Zealand she worked as a kindergarten teacher for 3 years. After her son, Toma was born she decided to take the Aromatherapy Certificate at Wellpark College, fulfilling an old passion of hers - working with essential oils. This journey led her also to getting a certificate in relaxation massage.
Since Camelia finished her studies at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in 2007 she has been looking after people in her practice combining beauty, aromatherapy and massage.
Camelia loves working with families, teaching parents how to massage their babies and how to use essential oils in their home. During her visits she makes sure that each family member is pampered.
Camelia is happily married and the proud mum of Toma, their 4 years old boy.
Swami Ratnamurti Saraswati (Alinta Okan)

Swami Ratnamurti Saraswati has been involved in yoga for over 35 years, as a teacher, trainer of yoga teachers, course facilitator. She has been a Swami (spiritual teacher) of the Satyananda Lineage for nearly 30 years. She has written numerous yoga training courses and articles on yoga. She is the author of the healing book “A Guide to Crystal and Chakras".
Swami Ratnamurti Saraswati is also a gifted healer who can find answers in difficult physical, mental or emotional life situations through channeling, aura & chakra healing.
As a yoga teacher, she feels it is a privilege to work with pregnant women and mums with babies. She teaches ante-natal and post-natal yoga in a group and in one-on-one sessions.
Ratnamurti is a loving mother of three and grandmother of five children.
Cathy Gaul

Cathy has always been fascinated with the healing properties of the wonderful plants that grow around us. She trained at The South Pacific College of Natural Therapeutics, Auckland part-time while raising her two children (Seth and Jessie-Kate). Cathy graduated in 2000 with a diploma in Herbal medicine and a diploma in Natural Therapeutics. She has been running her own practice in Auckland ever since. In this time she had another child (Greta who is now 5) and obtained a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine from Charles Sturt University.
Cathy regularly teaches natural health related subjects to adults at community education classes in Auckland and is passionate about educating people so they can have more power over their own health.
Cathy is a member of the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists (NZAMH) and the Natural Health Council (NHC).
Cathy is passionate about the effects of food on health & wellbeing, herbal medicine and the positive effects of bodywork. She offers therapeutic massage, pregnancy and baby massage and lymphatic drainage massage as well as herbal medicine, food as medicine, nutrition and Bach flower remedies.
Cathy is a caring & experienced practitioner who is familiar with many of the complaints that may occur during pregnancy and after birth as well as children’s complaints.
