Homeopathy is based on principles and the most important principle is the "law of similars" - the idea that a substance that produces a set of symptoms in a healthy person will cure those symptoms in a sick person.
Homeopathy has been successful in treating colds, coughs, flu, ear infections, cystitis, emotional problems such as anxiety and depression, learning difficulties or behavioural problems in children, chronic fatigue and post-viral syndrome, IBS, Chrohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, asthma and allergies, headaches and migraines, skin problems like eczema and psoriasis, PMS and menopause, infertility, pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal care.
During a consultation which usually lasts about 1 & 1/2 hours, I will ask you about your presenting complaint(s) and it's symptoms, your medical history and any significant health problems in your family. I will also enquire about your personal characteristics, modalities (what makes things better or worse), preferences, sleep pattern, dreams, phobias, feelings and sensations. All this will enable me to find the indicated remedy.
