How do these modalities: spiritual healing, osteopathic massage, exercise physiology, and holographic kinetics work together? How would it help you personally? Spiritual Healing and holographic kinetics address the subtle bodies of the human being, while massage and exercise physiology address the visible portion of our human body. If all aspects are being addressed, balance is achieved earlier, thus it makes sense to train the physical body as well as working on spirit level. You personally may have realised an imbalance, for example you have noticed a certain difficulty or a pain in you right foot, perhaps both symptoms at once. So with massage and sports medicinal assessment we would treat the foot on the physical level. ON the spirit levels we can address the underlying emotional or energetical cause for the sore foot. Spiritual cause may be an interference or intrusion from another dimension in a past life, while physically the foot is sore in this earth dimension. If we have resolved all the origins in all possible attached or connected dimensions, the pain will most likely subside. As a client we all have symptoms or complaints that we are realising. Exercise Physiology refers to the adaptions of the metabolism of the human body to increased movement efforts. If you are healthy there is a certain proportionate increase in utilisation of oxygen to assist our well - being. When one is unwell, the metabolism is compromised as the body has different requirements. For example one will like to sit down compared to moving around, being active. The body is prioritising its oxygen and nutritional needs according to the condition or situation one may be in, in other words the body is conserving its energy. When one has been diagnosed with an illness and receives medication that also is influencing the metabolism, thus ones exercise capacity. Ie. Betablockers for the high blood pressure are reducing the heart rate there for the body can exercise more efficiently to a certain extend. Although one is not being able to exercise at full capacity, specific movements will still be beneficial. For example one has twisted their ankle, they obviously cannot walk properly as it will hurt and can potentially cause more harm. The whole body would still be benefiting from exercise though. One may not be able to think of the correct exercise such as swimming to increase the oxygen uptake. If one had a heart attack there are different rules to obey to train up again until one is happy with their amount of exercise (active movement in their lives). Post heart attack a client often does not know what exercise is beneficia for them, therefore specific exercise prescription is essential.
ARE YOU SITTING TOO MUCH? Harmful cascades in the physiology due to sitting too much, eating too many sweets and not allowing the body to utilise that extra sugar can most likely contribute to another or the first episode of irregular heartbeats, and even cardiac arrest. Lower backpain is common in people who sit too much. Thinking of office workers, truck drivers, any drivers, etc. Specifc exercise can assist in minimising painful episodes and avoiding detrimental situations down the time track. If you are unsure about your exercise capacity, get yourself assessed by an exercise physiologist and be ensured that you are knowing what your exercise parameters are. That is cheaper and safer than a visit to the hospital by the ambulance. The other culprit is stroke. If you are not looking after your body, it can quickly catch up to you, throwing you in the horizontal. At best specific exercise alleviates the problem as a thorough assessment will give insight how the problem or medical imbalance eventuated in the first place. There is actual scientific proof that exercise is assisting in the management of Diabetes (American College of Sports Medicine, American Diabetes Association, 2010, Medicine in Science & Sports and Exercise, pp 2283 - 2303)
In other words ….. Exercise Physiology refers to the ability of the body to adapt to exercise. Ie when you run you are breathing more often and your heart rate is proportionately increasing. When one is unwell, ones’ ability to breathe may be limited, or the heart rate increases without you doing any exercise at all. The body has then different needs, and one may choose to sit down more often. If one decides to go the doctor, he or she may prescribe some medication such as a beta blocker to reduce the elevated blood pressure or insulin to reduce any increase blood sugar (pre diabetes). One can take a pill, ie antihypertensive medication or oral insulin and the blood pressure or bloodsugar will normalise.
    However these days science has found that exercise has got the similar effect in influencing ones blood pressure (BP) and blood sugar (BGL). The bad news is that these (high BP and high BGL) are also found to be precursors for heart - , kidney - , and nerve diseases. (American College of Sports Medicine and American Diabetes Association (2010). The good news is that one can exercise on regular in order to reduce the blood sugar. (Boraita Perez, 2008 and Lavie, 2011).
So what does that have to do with Clinical Exercise Physiology? One can become active, exercise the right amount at the correct intensity and prevent any chronic illness or malaise when understanding more about how your body works. On the other end if one is already diagnosed with a chronic condition one should consult with a clinical exercise physiologist to find the correct exercise to improve or at least manage the challenging health condition with the aim to improve mobility and perhaps even lower medications. What is Osteopathic Remedial Massage? Pathic Remedial Massage refers to the physical treatment of the human body with the intention to alleviate pain and discomfort resulting from the musculoskeletal system. Ie One has tension in the lower back. The Pathic Remedial Massage therapist can identify the musculoskeletal causation, while being able to distinguish from other sources of pain or defect that may need attention from your GP or other specialist such as a chiropractiker. Exercise is generally contraindicated for lower back pain, however with skilfull assessment the exercise physiologist is able to identify safe exercise that potentially alleviate the pain. The Pathic Remedial Massage therapist may be able to assist you by touching, pushing and stretching specific muscles in order to induce balance between contractile and tensile tissues. As a result the bones will align more correctly hence reducing pain. These treatment normally take 60 – 90 min. and cost 90 NZD to 130 NZD
Relaxation massage Relaxation massage can be included in order allow the blood pressure to drop by dilating the arteries, increasing blood flow to the limbs, brain and all other organs naturally with a more regular breathing rate. The conscious mind begins to relax and we take control again of our body and environment. Ah relaxation is one of the oldest and simplest ways to have balance homeostasis in the body. These 90 min treatments are priced at 130 NZD What happens during a massage? What do you need to do? You lie on a massage table, either with clothing, and if you prefer an oil massage without clothing, ie you keep your undies on. With your permission the therapist will touch you and at best you begin to relax and focus on your breathing. Gradually you relax more and more deeply so your mind is letting go, while your massage therapist is touching, rubbing and pummelling you on you legs, arms, back, head and belly. After the treatment it is good drink plenty of water and seek some relaxing activity, such as going for a gentle walk and then a bath in Epsom salts.
Spiritual healing Spiritual Healing has been proven by 155 studies (Benor, 1995) to be effective tool in assisting healing of the individual. However due to political and financial reasons, this fine health modality has been surpressed by academics of western medicine. Nevertheless its effectiveness is evident for its application. Spiritual Healing works on the subtle bodies of the human being. These in turn do affect the physical body. With the understanding of Quantum Physics we can attempt to describe this magnificent healing art. The spirit is immortal and is temporarily residing in this physical body. Once spirit has been addressed and healed, the physical body will mend as well. Once the original cause for the “imbalance” is found, balancing actions will cause harmony. We are dealing with the unseen world, the subtle or thin world in many unlimited dimensions. But spirit will always know what there is to do to bring about harmony. About Uta Uta has graduated with the Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Diploma in Health Sciences ( remedial massage) at western style educational channels (Southern Cross University, Lismore, and TAFE, Kingscliff, Australia).
