Barbara is a qualified Naturopath and Medical Herbalist in Howick, Auckland. She gained her Bachelor of Health Science, through the Charles Sturt University after qualifying as a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist at the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine in 2009. After losing her father to cancer, Barbara has developed a special interest in integrative support and care of cancer patients. This led her to complete a postgraduate study in Working with People with Cancer by Dr Nicky Baillie, through the International College of Herbal Medicine. Barbara’s clinical focus is disease prevention and aging well. Her treatment focuses on the functioning of the body rather than on a disease. Her treatment approach combines a thorough history and analysis of signs/symptoms, an assessment of nutrition, and analysis of blood chemistry, urine, and saliva testing.

Casey provides in depth consultations geared towards detecting nutritional deficiencies that may be causing or contributing to many diseases and illnesses. Depending on the needs of her client, she uses in clinic and pathology testing to take the guess work out of the equation. Casey aims to provide manageable stepping stones for her clients towards achieving optimal health. "As a clinical nutritionist I take a holistic approach to health and wellness. This means I look at all aspects of my client's lives, and personalise a treatment plan that will suit them. My goal is to provide my client's with the tools, knowledge and support to help them take control of their health and wellness journey."

Initial Consultations
This consultation allows us to find out about you, your health concerns and goals for your health. Your practitioner will assess where you are currently health wise, and use in clinic testing to help determine the cause of the health concern. This information will be used to compile your comprehensive personalised treatment plan. The treatment plan will be presented to you at the review session.
Initial Review Session
In this session your practitioner will report back their findings from your initial consultation. Your comprehensive treatment plan will also be presented to you at this stage and the process will be broken down and explained to you. This important step is aimed to prepare you to start your journey fully informed.
Nutritional Consultation
Please Note: For clients that have had a Naturopathic Primary Consultation only
During this visit our Nutritionist will teach you the best foods for your current health status. A plan will be specifically designed to your individual needs and will include guidelines and recipes. Any pathology results received will be discussed during this appointment.
Follow Up Consultations
This appointment is to ensure you are progressing towards a healthy outcome as outlined in your treatment plan. Part of your treatment plan may include the use of nutritional supplements and herbal medicines. These are of the highest Practitioner Only quality to ensure maximum therapeutic benefits. The supplements are not designed to be a long term solution and will be reduced and/or altered as soon as possible. This is based on individual prognosis and pathology results.
