As our environment becomes increasingly burdened with pollution, food becomes less nutritious and seemingly more stressors in life our body becomes less able to clear the toxins its exposed to. Environmental toxins that accumulate in the body disrupt the intricate biochemical pathways. This can cause system inefficiencies from compromised immunity to poor waste product elimination which ultimately leaves the door open for disease (skin, digestive and neurological conditions etc.). Johns methods of assessment identify whether the body is burdened with toxins (because the detox pathways have been over-whelmed) and until you facilitate their removal the body will find it difficult to become completely well. Because there are often chemical sensitivities or patients are very fragile he only uses "true" natural non-synthetic supplements that allow the body to remove these toxins safely. He does NOT use the man-made chelators like DMSA, DMPS or EDTA.
