Genevieve Simperingham is an Irish woman, living in New Zealand since 2000. She has practiced as a healer for the past fifteen years and facilitated groups for the past thirteen years. She connects deeply with her pagan roots and draws on this wisdom in her life and her work. As well as her experience within Celtic Shamanism, she has also studied extensively the Native American Medicine Way.
Genevieve's work is very diverse, having trained in and studied many different modalities over the years. There is a more comprehensive list of Genevieve's training history on the "History" page of my website.
Genevieve initally completed a series of training courses in Energy Healing and Counseling Skills, which form a strong foundation for her healing work. She apprenticed with three particular healers who she highly respected for their abilities as strong medicine women. Practicing as a healer, Genevieve was drawn to specialize in Shamanic Healing and has strongly followed that calling. The journey has led her to train with some very special teachers, including Rainbow Hawk and Wind Eagle, Earth Wisdom Teachers based in California. She took part in intensive teaching ceremonies with them, which were strongly focused on the Medicine Wheel, over a two year period.
Soul Retrieval, Extraction, Earth Healing, Healing the Family Tree, Inner Child Work and healing childhood and birth traumas are some of the focuses in Genevieve's healing work. Some of her areas of passion are teaching healing through dance and movement, drumming, chanting, sound healing, toning and meditation. The focus is always to help people reclaim their connection with their Spirit, their body, their energies, their internal world and with Mother Earth.
Genevieve enjoys guiding people on Shamanic Journeys to bring them in touch with the inner planes of consciousness where she believes we can access a much clearer version of our reality, our life, relationships, our past and most importantly our true selves.
Services
Genevieve is a professionally trained Shamanic Practitioner and Energy Healer. As an Energy Healer, Genevieve senses energy blockages in the physical body and the auric bodies and releases, or at least considerably minimizes, these blocks using various methods. Energy Healing puts a large focus on the state of the chakras and aims to open, cleanse and balance the chakras with each other. Some of the services that Genevieve offer include:
